On Swann was amazing!! so glad we got to try it and definitely recommend making reservations ahead of time. The cocktails were so good, i had the Snap Decision and the Garden Social. The Snap Decision benefited the Raining Dogs and Cats Sanctuary that month! We got multiple rounds of drinks they were so good! Started with an app, the empanada and the Ahi tuna. The tun was amazing, must try!! I wasnt extremely hungry, so we split the Shrimp over Jasmine rice. Delicious. Our friends got the scallops and the pork chops. Not to top it all off, the desserts were amazing! Highly recommend coming to On Swann. Service was so friendly, efficient, and upbeat!! Didnt miss anything at our table, she even reset the silverware and crumbed the table! Awesome!!

Had an impromptu dinner w a friend and we escaped the hockey game crowds and found ourselves at On Swann in Hyde Park. Plenty of garage parking around or they offer valet. Our server, Chelsea, was friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations. We shared everything we ordered. Here we go: The beef carpaccio was my favorite. Great portion, chilled and sliced perfectly thin. The sauce wasn't overpowering. Zeppole- typically seen as a dessert, their spin pairs the fried dough balls with a savory whipped corn and ricotta dip. An easy shareable but the fried dough is filling. Mushrooms- the come piled on a nice piece of toast. Perfectly cooked with a nice bounce- not mushy. Scallops- three HUGE scallops. Super fresh. Cooked to perfection (which is always a challenge for places). Atop some Brussels and mash. Bread pudding- flavor was great but I was not a huge fan of the custard, flan like texture. I prefer a bread pudding that is slightly wobbly in texture w chunks of fresh bread in sight. This was just a bit dense. Great ambiance and wine list. The menu has something for everyone and is versatile.

The food and presentation was amazing! Service was great, place was clean and it was an upbeat spot. Lot's of people coming through too but that being said, we ended up getting our food kind of luke warm. It seemed as if it was waiting a minute before making it to the table, but thats the only reason for only 4 stars.

Top notch food and experience. All wait staff are dressed nice and put together. They course out your meals and are very attentive to each table. It is clean and well spaced out. The food quality is just amazing. The price of entrees is definitely high but at least the quality reflects it. Their pairings of flavors are what really makes this place special.

Wow! I forgot how good this place is! Our server Markie was amazing! Very sweet and offered great suggestions. We tried the Fig Tart, Oh My! So far, the best thing i ate this year! Amazing flavors! Next we both had our entrees: my friend had shrimp with Asian flare and i had the pork chop. Another slam dunk! Lastly, we split the decadent flourless chocolate cake. This was a winner! I am surprised i haven't been in here so long, def making it back here again! PS: make reservations.. by the time we left (745pm), all the tables were taken! I was shocked to see that on a Thursday nite!

My friend took me there for lunch. We had the kale salad, and each of us got a grilled cheese sandwich. I ended it with a latte, and we had bread pudding for dessert. We weren't rushed; our server was very sweet and helpful. My friend had a couple of drinks from the bar. I didn't take pictures, but I have to say the kale salad was the best ever, and the grilled cheese had fig jam, brie, and other cheeses. I had dinner here before but lunch is a winning choice.
